We have two gorgeous options when it comes to accommodation. Carthew Barn, our newly renovated traditional Cornish barn which comfortably (and stylishly) sleeps six, and The Brew House, our recent annex conversion, which is perfectly appointed for a couple looking for a boujis retreat. Both properties benefit from the extraordinary privacy and seclusion that only Carthew offers.

Great location, stunning setting and excellent accommodation.

Carthew is an absolutely gorgeous property and Charlotte our host was super helpful and attentive. We loved our stay at The Barn - it is beautifully presented and the perfect location for exploring the local area. Only 20 minutes from a gorgeous beach - Constantine Bay (our favourite), 10 minutes from Padstow and Wadebridge is about 7 minutes away to pick up lots of great local produce. We'll definitely be rebooking! Thank you Charlotte.

The Barn is an amazing house set on a beautiful property. The photos really do not convey the sense of space and light that the house has, and the expansive grounds that are available to guests. The property easily accommodates an adult family of 6, and the main open kitchen / dining / lounge area is huge. The entire property is tastefully decorated and the hosts were fantastic, both in the lead-up to our stay as well as responding to any queries / requests during out week. The outdoor pizza oven and fire-pit are added bonuses (so too are the local pheasant
population). Would highly recommend!

We couldn't recommend a more central location to access all the usual North Cornish delights from Polzeath to Port Isaac. Carthew is a delight from the gorgeous open views down to the Camel Estuary to the actual accommodation. The Barn is the most brilliant open space to hang around (the best wood fire which was really useful during a few rainy days) as a family. It felt light, spacious & has a contemporary cosy vibe. The whole place was super tidy & looked after with an immaculate hand!! We will be back & we would highly recommend a week in Carthew, where you can dip into the busier areas such as Polzeath & Padstow & then very happily hide back up on the hill for some R n R.

Claire

Great location, lots of space (inside and out), stylish and comfortable - with lovely views. A great place to get away from it all.

Kate

Fantastic place with beautiful views. Charlotte is a
great host and we had an excellent time enjoying Cornwall. Would thoroughly recommend.

This is a really beautiful house in a great location. Lots of space inside and out. Charlotte is an excellent host, very welcoming and lots of suggestions for trips and local restaurants. Great location for surfing, space to rinse surf gear and great big utility space. Beautiful walks and beaches close by. Highly recommend it.

Catherine

A beautiful and peaceful location close to Padstow and fantastic beaches with a view across fields to the Camel estuary. There is very little light pollution so night skies are filled with stars and you can listen to the owls and other wildlife. This is such a well equipped and stylish base from which to explore: comfortable beds; big, fluffy towels; shampoo, soaps & conditioner; all you need in the kitchen; wood burner for autumn evenings; stunning kitchen/living room beautifully decorated. Charlotte and family are fantastic hosts who made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. A really lovely home!

Sophie

Sensational cottage! Very spacious, bathroom is wonderful and the outdoor space and grounds are lovely to be in and around. All the mod cons and an incredibly comfortable bed with amazing views! Host was lovely and easy to communicate with! Would highly recommend to anyone!

Great stay at The Brew House, Charlotte and family were very friendly on arrival & the place was wonderful. A great location not far from Padstow & served as a great hub for our Cornwall exploration.

An ideal getaway. My husband and I stayed for 1 week and had a wonderful time. Charlotte is a fantastic host. The cottage is heavenly, has everything you could need and is only a short drive from great restaurants and beaches. Charlotte was also super helpful with suggestions of where to go with some great local insights. The outdoor fire-pit was perfect for the slightly colder evenings as was the log burner which gave a lovely cosy feeling to the cottage. A five star stay would definitely recommend - perfect for a romantic break away from the madness.

Francesca

The Brew House is such a cute Cornish cottage; a very cosy winter retreat with a wonderful log burner. The location is secluded and only 6 miles from Padstow; the Wadebridge shops, petrol station and Camel trail are even closer, only 10 mins away. The cottage was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated & furnished; the bed was comfy and it has a massive bathroom with huge bath and walk-in shower. The attention to detail is what you would expect in a 5-star hotel with bathrobes, tissues, good wifi, 2 smart TVs, Nespresso coffee machine, boot mat, heated towel.

The Brew House is an Absolute Gem. Wonderful secluded, tranquil setting but still close to local hot spots. The cottage is beautifully decorated, absolutely spotless and was warm and cosy.
